Largely figurative, Meike tends to work in the narrative expressing the human story.Meike is a member of the Sculpture Society and has exhibited with the Sculpture Society since 1998.MEIKE DAVIS Gallery Visit:On my last visit to Germany, I had the good fortune to be taken to a very interesting sculpture garden situated behind a semi-rural Railway Station near Osnabrueck, a Town in Northern Germany.The Artist” Volker Johannes Trieb” build his Studio and Restaurant in this location with the sculpture garden as the main focal point.The Artist used the different garden spaces for his sculptures and ideas, from ceramic pods hanging from trees to rusted steel pieces lying in a ditch apparently discarded, only to be taken over by nature to oak planks wedged between trees to serve as tables.
